Consider these questions
Do you feel the drawing of the Spirit of the Lord into the place of prayer?
- Do you find yourself consistently awakening at the same time over an extended period, with a burden to pray?
- Do you find yourself carrying an unusual burden that drives you into the secret place of prayer?
- Do you feel the urge to speak what God has shown you concerning individuals, families, the nation, and the Body of Christ?
- Do you feel compelled to warn when the Lord says, “Speak”?
- Do you feel the Word of God burning in your heart, accompanied by a demand from heaven to speak when God says so?
- Do you experience an intense burden to continue praying until the assignment is completed, the burden lifts, or you sense that God has given you release?
- Do you find yourself watching, discerning, interceding, warning, and standing in the gap even when no one else sees or understands what you are carrying?
If you answered yes to many of these questions, there may be a strong indication that God is drawing you into the ministry of the watchman.
A watchman is not simply someone who prays. A watchman is one who is positioned, alert, discerning, obedient, and entrusted with an assignment from God.
